This is far more than a return to public worship and fellowship. It is a return to the LORD with hearts that seek Him. We have been worshipping online and will continue to provide online services for our vulnerable, those who feel safer at home than in public settings, families with small children, and a host of new friends who have been with us online.
We will meet at the regular hours of worship on both North and West Campuses (9:00AM & 10:30AM).
Both our North and West Campuses will have limited seating available for our 9:00AM and 10:30AM services. Households will be seated together with approximately 3 seats between each household. For this reason, we are asking that you register for a specific service time.
You can also call our office at 251-679-3266 and have one of our assistants help you (Mon.-Thu. 7:30AM-4:30PM) prior to the Sunday you want to attend.
We respectfully ask that you wear a mask when entering our buildings for worship. Masks will be available on-site at our locations if you do not have one. We understand that this is complicated, if not controversial for some, however, this is the best way we can show our love for one another. Phil. 2:3-4 says, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”
Not all of our entrances will be open. Please come to the main entrance where doors will be held open for you. Help us maintain safe social distancing by not congregating with other groups in the lobby prior to services.
Please help maintain social distancing when seeing each other again. Give a “thumbs-up” or a wave so as to respect space between individuals and groups. Please refrain from hugs and handshakes.
The worship center will be set up in sections, and we hope to have a host for each section. We will maintain social distancing by using every other row and having 3 empty seats between households. Once you are seated, the host will put a piece of paper in the immediate seats beside your family. If you see a piece of paper, or a row that is taped off, that means “stop”, these seats are not available.
There will be no separate Family Ministry environments (Nursery, Kids, Students). Your children will sit with you during the gathering. We welcome your family to join us, and we understand that kids will be kids! Bring them!
At Redemption, we believe children and students can change the world. In order to do this, they need to continue being discipled. The Bible teaches that parents are the primary disciple-makers in the home, but Redemption is here to partner with you by providing you with the tools needed to help you encourage spiritual growth and continued gospel focus during this season.
For Redemption Kids we have our weekly videos and blog posts with age-specific content, the Lifeway Kids app is a resource for coloring pages and other lesson-specific content, and the kids' music for Elementary and Preschool is also available through Apple music. Additionally, children have been and will continue to receive monthly personal mailers that invite them to love their parents, live on mission, or simply remind them that they are noticed and loved. Parents be sure to keep checking out our website, goredemptionkids.com, and our Facebook page for more information to help you as you parent and guide your children. Our little disciples can do big things for the Lord!
For Redemption Students check out gorcstudents.com to see our parent and student resources, sign up for the parent email, follow our social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube), and sign your student up for a Virtual Grow Group.
We believe it is best to limit the handling of paper. Therefore, we will not be offering handouts for the foreseeable future.
We will continue to encourage families to give online through our Redemption App, text to give, or give online at www.goredemption.com/give. If you have not set up an online contribution, please visit the mobile app or visit our website to start that process. Offering plates will not be passed, instead, we will have offering buckets located at the Welcome Center in the lobby for your convenience.
We will be opening our bathrooms for your convenience. We will have people cleaning these areas frequently.
We are going to ask everyone to leave the facility without congregating in the lobbies and hallways. Doors will be held open for you.
Highly touched areas will be cleaned and sanitized prior to, during, and after services.
For the time being, we will NOT be serving from our Redemption Cafe. Water fountains will also not be available at this time. Feel free to bring your own coffee and water as you see fit!
We will continue our online service options at 9:00AM & 10:30AM on www.goredemption.com/live, Facebook, YouTube, and on the Redemption App on your Apple and Android devices.
